After months of preparation and rehearsal, the big day is finally here! The sun is shining and dry weather is forecast so conditions should be ideal. A small army of supporting members have been busy at work since early morning [very early morning for some..] getting the sets ready and putting the props in place.
If you are reading this after the event and you were present, please do let us know what you thought of it. Feedback is always helpful and guides us for future performances.
A big thank you to all the cast, the director and producer and the many support members and sponsors who have made the Beverley Passion 2012 possible. We also thank the local authority and the police for their encouragement and support for this event. |

The Final Rehearsal has taken place, costumes have been distributed and finishing touches made to the sets. Excitement is mounting for this year's performance of the Beverley Passion Play. BBC Look North have expressed considerable interest and will be filming some of the scenes and interviewing members of the cast for broadcast. An interview with the producer - Richard Bradbury will be aired during the day.
The performance begins at 10:50 at the Minster Steps and rhen proceeds along the route indicated culminating in the crucifixion in Saturday market at about 11:30. This year the location for this scene will be in front of Dyer Lane and not near to he bandstand as previously. |

Rehearsals are in full swing for the 2012 production of the Beverley Passion. Watch this space for images of the progress so far.
In the meantime, please note that the rehearsal planned for Sunday 16th March is cancelled due to the unavoidable absence of certain key parties. We will however resume on 25th March for a full cast rehearsal followed on 1st April by a walk-through of the route. |

Rehearsals for the 2012 Beverley Passion begin today [Sunday 19th February]. If you have a named part or have otherwise been contacted by the producer, please come to the Minster Rooms at 15:00. We expect the session to last 2 hours.
